Banasura Sagar Dam
Banasura Sagar dam, the largest earth dam in India is constructed in the Banasura lake in Kalpetta, Wayanad, Kerala. The dam is made up of massive stacks of stones and boulders. The reservoir formed by the dam is dotted with tiny islands enveloped in thick foliage and with the Banasura hill in the background offers a magnificent view & it has a vast catchment area which provides ample area to enjoy the speed boat/ motor boat experience to the maximum.

Chembra peak
Chembra Peak is a mountain in the state of Kerala with an elevation of 2,100-m above sea level, Chembra is the highest peak in Wayanad district and lives up to its billing of being a picturesque location. A full-day trekking package to Chembra peak is organized by the forest department & the Trekking starts from 07.00 am. The route to the peak itself has a brilliant view along with a heart-shaped lake, waterfalls and lush greenery the whole way.

Edakkal caves
The Edakkal caves are two natural caves at a remote location at Edakkal, 25-kms from Kalpetta in the Wayanad district & it lies 1,200-m above sea level. An outing to Edakkal Caves in Wayanad resembles an excursion into our overlooked past, Found 10-kms from Sulthan Bathery.The oldest Petroglyphs inside the cave may date back to over 7000-years. The other drawings range over the period from 5000-BC to 1000-BC & It is one of the most visited tourist places in Wayanad for its Historical importance and for trekking possibilities.

Kuruva island
Kuruva Dweep or Kuruva Island is a protected river delta, comprising a cluster of islands over the middle of Kabini River in Wayanad. It Spreads over 950-acre (3.8 km2) protected river delta. Kuruva Island is a natural paradise that is replete with diverse flora and fauna in the most beautiful surroundings & the trees here are evergreen in nature. The main island contains two small fresh water lakes & Other unique features of these islands are the bridges made of bamboo and rare species of trees.

Lakkidi
Lakkidi is a rain forest located in a gateway of the Wayanad district and it is located at an altitude of about 700-meters, Lakkidi gets about 600-cm rainfall annually, making it one of the highest rainfall regions in Kerala. Nestled within this celebrated state is the hidden gem of Lakkidi, a lusciously green hill station & Lakkidi is the entry point to the Wayanad district of Kerala. Its rich and colorful flora will make it difficult even to blink in the fear of missing out on the lovely sights it offers.

Wayanad heritage museum
Wayanad heritage museum is one of the largest and best archaeological museums in the state & it is situated 12-kms south of Sulthan Bathery in Wayanad district. It is known to be one of the most eminent museums in Kerala, Some of the famous items which you can spot here are ancient terra cottas, tribal artefacts, 14-16th-century sculptures etc & it is a great place to know more about Wayanad’s Adivasi population and explore the historical items that narrate their own stories.

Pookode Lake
Pookode Lake in Wayanad is a freshwater lake located around 15-kms from Kalpetta resembling the map of India. Pookode Lake is Nestled between evergreen forest and Western Ghats, the lake is spread over 13 acre and is 40-m deep & it is one of the most important tourist destination in Wayanad. Pookode Lake is a naturally formed lake at the tryst of three hill bases, but at an altitude of 800-meters above sea level.

Muthanga wildlife sanctuary
Muthanga wildlife sanctuary is located around 38-Kms from Kalpetta and 15-Kms from Sulthan Batheryin the wayanad district. Muthanga Wildlife Sanctuary is a rainforest wich connects Nagarhole and Bandipur parks in Karnataka and Mudumalai in Tamil Nadu. The sanctuary is also blessed with its endless population of birds like peacocks, babblers, cuckoos, owls, woodpeckers, jungle fowls etc.
