Brindavan garden

The Brindavan Gardens is located 12-kms from the city of Mysore in the district of  Mandya, It is a must vist place of a Mysore tour. This garden Spread across an area of 60 acres, Brindavan Gardens is at the bottom of the Krishnaraja Sagara Dam (KRS), across the river Cauvery. It is well-known for the symmetric design adorning illuminated terrace gardens, majestic fountains, botanical park, unique varieties of plants, and much more.

Chamundi hills

Sri Chamundeswari temple is situated on the top of Chamundi hill & The hills lie at a height of about 1000-meters above sea level and are 13-kms from the east of  Mysore City. The name comes from the Chamundeshwari Temple at the peak. The Chamundi Hill is a religious significance in Hinduism and Sikhism. From Chamundi Hills 8 to 10-kms from all the corners of Mysore City can be viewed. 

Timings : 7.30-AM to 2-PM, 3.30-PM to 6-PM, 7.30-AM to 9-PM on all days of the week.

Mysore palace

The Mysore Palace is a historical palace and a royal residence, It is located in just 500-meters from Mysore City. This palace is one of the most magnificent and largest palaces in India & it used to be the official residence of the Wadiyar dynasty and the seat of the Kingdom of Mysore. The palace Designed by the English Architect, Henry Irwin, the Mysore Palace dominates the skyline of Mysore is in the centre of Mysore, and faces the Chamundi Hills eastward.

Mysuru Zoo

Mysore Zoo is a 157-acre zoo located 3-kms from the city & near the palace in Mysore, It is one of the city’s most popular attractions. Mysore Zoo is the second most visited place in Mysore after Mysore Palace. It is the only zoo in India to exhibit a Gorilla. Other Primates include Baboon, Capuchin Monkey, and Marmoset, a variety of Lemur, Chimpanzee and common Indian Langur.

Jagan Mohan Palace

Jaganmohan Palace is located 2-kms in the city of Mysore, It Built in 1861 as an alternate retreat for the royal family by Mummadi Krishnaraja Wodeyar in the traditional Hindu architectural style. Jaganmohan Palace in Mysore is one of the oldest buildings in Mysore & it is one of the majestic palaces that enhance the glory of the princely state of Mysore.

Kukkarhalli lake

Kukkarahalli Lake is located 3-kms in the heart of the Mysore city. This lake is a peaceful place for a morning walk and jogging. It Spread across an area of 58-hectares, the Kukkarahalli Lake is a J-shaped lake with a shoreline of almost 5-kms.

St. Philomena Cathedral

The St. Philomena’s Church in Mysore is one of the oldest churches in India. Full name of the church is, The Cathedral of St. Joseph and St. Philomen & it is over 200-years old. Philomena’s Church Located about 3-kms from the city bus stand which is a well-known landmark of Mysore.

Lalitha mahal palace

Lalitha Mahal Palace is located 5-kms away from Mysore city centre, This palace was built with a cost of around 13 lakhs. This two-storied palace also presents a magnificent view of the hills around. Lalitha Mahal Palace built by the erstwhile Maharaja of Mysore to host his most important guest, the Viceroy of India.
