Hirekolale Lake

➽ Hirekolale Lake is a beautiful man-made lake situated at a distance of 10-kms  from Chikmagalur and about 50-kms from Kemmangundi. This lake is situated in the heart of nature and surrounded by the majestic Mullayanagiri Hills of the Western Ghats. It was built as a source of drinking water to the town of Chikmagalur and to supply water for irrigation purposes in the villages nearby.

Hoysaleswara Temple, Halebeedu

➽ Hoysaleswara temple, also referred simply as the Halebidu temple, It is a 12-th century Hindu temple dedicated to Lord Shiva. It was built to compete with the Chennakesava temple which was under construction as a Vaishnava temple. The Hoysaleswara Temple is surrounded by ponds, mantapas and lakes. It is well known for the sculptures and architecture of Hoysala period and it is located at a distance of 10-kms  from Chikmagalur.

Baba Budangiri

➽ Baba Budangiri, also known as Chandradrona, is a hill and mountain range. Baba Budan Range is one of the most attractive places to visit in Chikmagalur and it is the second highest peak in Karnataka, located at a distance of 34-kms  from Chikmagalur. It is also a great photography destination for photography enthusiasts due to its rich indigenous flora and fauna.

Yagachi Dam / Boat house

➽ Yagachi Dam is a fantastic location for adventure and water sports. The Yagachi River in Karnataka arises in the Western Ghats near the city of Chikmagalur and flows through Belur Taluka, Hassan District. This water sports center conducting various activities like Jetski ride, Bumper ride, Kayaking, Speed and Cruise boat ride, banana ride etc. This dam is situated at a distance of 3-km from the Belur town & 30-Kms from Chikmagalur town.

Jhari Waterfalls

➽ Jhari Falls is a waterfall located 24-kms from Chikmagalur town. Jhari waterfall is often visited along with Mullayanagiri and Baba Budan Giri. This waterfalls is popularly known as the Buttermilk Falls & the Water originating in the mountains flows over steep rocks offering a wide and thin white layer of a spectacular waterfall.

Mullayanagiri

➽ Mullayanagiri is one of the most famous tourist spot in chikmagalur blessed with an unmatched beauty at a height of 1925-metres, it is the highest peak in Karnataka and also the 23-rd highest peak in Western Ghats. Mullayanagiri Peak is Regarded as the highest peak between Himalayas and Nilgiris & Locate at a distance of 20-Kms from the Chikmagalur Town.

Kodandarama Temple

➽ Kodandaramaswami Temple is a Hindu shrine located at Hiremagalur with a distance of  5-Kms from Chikkamagalur town. This temple is 1200-years old with Sri Rama as the main deity, An incarnation of Lord Vishnu. It is a must visit temple to witness its magnificence and seek blessings of the presiding deity.

Belur Chennakeshava Temple

➽ Chennakesava Temple, Belur is one of the finest examples of Hoysala architecture & this star shaped temple is believed to have taken around 103 years to build.
